About the Therapist
-My clients describe me as-
Non-judgmental, goal-oriented, & empowering. I’m interested to learn your struggles and goals as well as what you need from me as your therapist
-Something to know about my approach is-
It’s solution-focused & collaborative. We work on what’s achievable now & build from there. In working with couples in particular I provide an unbiased space to overcome unhealthy patterns of communication, connection, & conflict resolution.
-Together, we will-
Create change that aligns with your strengths, your values, & your overall identity. We’ll explore what has & hasn’t worked for you (with a bit of self-compassion) & celebrate the wins you’ve worked for along the way
-I specialize in working with people who-
May have tried therapy before & found their experience a bit too passive or they feel that they’ve tried everything & just need help problem-solving unique strategies that fit their life, their specific stress, & the purpose or meaning they seek
-I became a therapist because-
Human growth is an incredible thing to witness & I get to walk along side people who are healing for themselves & their relationships with others
-Something that stands out about where I offer therapy is-
I’ve really enjoyed working in the Clarksville/Fort Campbell community. It’s been a decade now and this community is so diverse being close to Nashville, Austin Peay State University, & the Fort Campbell Army base.
-More about me and my practice-
Marriage and couples counseling has been my passion and my specialty with more complexities added when the couple is military or a blended family. It requires a balance of understanding, practicality, and inspiring motivation that is so rewarding to see when put into action. I believe the objective of every session is to leave feeling that you have more to take with you than when you started.
-Let’s talk-
If you have any questions, feel free to give me a call. I look forward to talking with you!
